Where your header gets covered
On X, your profile photo sits on top of the bottom-left corner of your header. On desktop the circle is about a quarter of the page width and hangs below the header's bottom edge. Phones use close to the same proportions on a smaller screen, so the covered area is similar.
Anything you put in that corner, like a logo, a face or a line of text, ends up behind your photo. Keep it in the middle or on the right. If your header isn't exactly 3:1, X trims the extra from the edges, which is the other common reason a header looks cut off.
